Brott Music Festival

A documentary chronicling the life and times of celebrated classical music author Alan Walker will be released to mark the U.K- born Hamiltonian’s half century in Canada and his 92nd birthday.Alan Walker: A Prosopography was produced by Brott Music Artistic Director Boris Brott, who has known the UK-born author and academic since before both their arrivals on a burgeoning classical music scene in Hamilton, Ontario 50 years ago. Dr. Walker took his place as Chair of McMaster University’s emergent Music Department shortly after Brott arrived from New York City to become the dynamic young Maestro of the City’s Philharmonic Orchestra.
